The amazing Heather Britt

Meet Heather Britt – dancer and choreographer extraordinaire! c:n’s partner in crime for Carnival – love her!!  She will be debuting a cameo role in the show, you must check it out.

More about her:  Heather was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio where she graduated from The School for Creative and Performing Arts with a major in dance. While living in San Francisco, CA. Heather performed professionally with many modern dance companies including Dance Repertory/SF, Landini Dance Company, and Potrzebie Dance Project.

Heather is the owner and artistic director of Rhythm and Motion Cincinnati, a dance workout program based in San Francisco.  The New York Times recently recommended her class for out –of- town visitors. Heather is a much requested performer as well, and dances for many local choreographers.

Heather received rave reviews for her most recent piece of choreography “All Too Wonderful”, a world premier for Cincinnati Ballet’s  2009  “New Works” production.  Her other recent works include choreography for The Cincinnati Fringe Festival, “True Body Project, Body Language II; Phys Ed”, and for The Fine Arts Fund’s 2009-2010 campaign video, “Splash Dance”.

Heather teaches modern, jazz, and ballet to students of all ages and abilities.  She is excited to have just completed her second year as a faculty member of NKU’s Department of Theatre and Dance where she teaches jazz and modern and choreographs for some of the department’s productions.  Heather also currently teaches at Cincinnati Ballet and Uptown Arts.  Heather was the Education Manager at Cincinnati Ballet for five years and has taught dance as a form of outreach for many other local organizations including Cincinnati Arts Association, Cincinnati Art Museum, Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park and Cincinnati Public libraries.
